Set it and forget it
Tell TabWipe how long a tab has to sit untouched. 15 minutes, 4 hours, whatever suits you. It quietly handles the rest, and there's a manual-only mode if you prefer to stay in control.
Close them, or just put them to sleep
Not ready to let go? Suspend tabs instead of closing them. They stay right where they are in your tab bar, but stop eating your RAM.

A small notification shows up before every sweep, with a countdown in the popup. Changed your mind? One click keeps everything open.
Some sites are off limits
Whitelist the sites that matter and TabWipe will never touch them. You can even set a tab limit per site, for the ones you tend to open twelve copies of.

There's no server behind TabWipe, because it doesn't need one. No account to create, no analytics, nothing phoning home. Your settings sync through your own Chrome profile, and your tab history never leaves your device.
I couldn't see your data even if I wanted to. I don't.
Things people ask
Does TabWipe send my browsing data anywhere?+
Nowhere. There's no server to send it to. Everything happens inside your browser. The only thing that ever leaves your machine is what Chrome's own sync already shares between your devices, and that's Chrome doing it, not me.
What if I'm in a meeting when a sweep runs?+
Nothing happens to it. Tabs playing audio or video are always skipped, and so are known meeting sites like Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Webex and Whereby, no matter how long they've been sitting there.
What if it closes something I needed?+
It's not gone. The last 100 closed tabs live in your history, and you can bring back one or all of them with a click. And if a sweep just ran, a single Undo puts everything back the way it was.
